Join us for an intimate meditative exploration of our deepest intentions as you begin to work with Universal energy to live a life filled with more harmony, creativity, and balance. You will work with gentle stretching and movement, a guided meditation on using creativity to create your life, Reiki, aromatherapy, journaling, and sound healing for a deep journey into the unconscious. By incorporating Reiki into our soundbaths we channel life force energy through touch as we send this energy through our hands to various points in your body through the chakra system. Aromatherapy comes through the use of sacred smudging with sage, palo santo and rose water. Relax into vibrational landscapes with perfectly pitched Quartz crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, heartbeat drums, rattles, and gong waves. You’ll move through all of the chakras, deepening your awareness and the connection between your mind, body, and spirit, which together become your creative life force. Come with an open heart and be prepared for your shift into a higher vibration.

For an intimate healing and open atmosphere, this class is limited to 12 students.

This is a great workshop for team-building and for the whole family. Please read our Workshop FAQ for more info.

All materials are included in the workshop and light snacks and refreshments will be served. You’ll also receive a 15% off discount at the Poketo shop in the lobby as well as all future workshops.

  • Forestkind is a soundbath community-based in Los Angeles that fosters awareness of the present moment through the healing sounds of quartz crystal singing bowls, gongs, rattles, drums and other healing modalities such as Usui Reiki energy and aromatherapy. Their soundbaths are restorative experiences that tap into a deeper consciousness of oneness, gratitude, and love. A soundbath can feel like a "massage for your insides" or a journey out of space and time into other realms. In 2016, they were invited to Art Basel to do 3 full days of meditative sound experiences for artists. Forestkind is comprised of duo Nicki Wong and Lulu Biazus.

Nicki Wong worked in fashion and art for almost 10 years before she embarked in the field of meditation, sound, and energy work. She left her creative copywriting position at Nasty Gal to pursue a freelance career advocating for eco-conscious and ethical fashion and beauty brands and she has worked with artists such as Jen Stark, Steve Harrington, and Esther Pearl Watson as a writer and video and event producer. In 2012, as she began to explore her spirituality, she received her Usui Reiki 1 Healer Certification. After a 10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreat and ayahuasca journey shortly after, she experienced a full spiritual awakening and now devotes much of her time and energy in spreading awareness of mind/body/spirit integration through meditation and mindfulness as keys to unlocking joy and creativity.

Lulu Biazus has worked as a fashion art director for over ten years. After graduating from Central St. Martins with a BFA in Design, she went on to work as a designer, illustrator, and art director at Wallpaper and Flaunt magazine before working more directly with various fashion companies. She currently works as a consulting art director at Halston, while developing her personal work as a visual artist, through collaborations with various photographers and stylists to create content for iD, Love, and other progressive brands. She began studying meditation in London in 2004, due to work/life stressors. Five years ago, she deepened her meditative practice with ayahuasca which leads to a reevaluation of her life purpose and a 10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreat. This called for a merging of her spiritual and creative lives, and a process of finding inner alignment and peace. She has since been furthering her education at InsightLA, UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center, and Against the Stream. She earned a certification in Holistic Life Coaching to further help others uncover their creative purpose in life and is a certified Reiki Master. She believes that the process of self-discovery is the journey back home.
