Paper pulp, typically used to make paper, is also a beautiful and versatile sculpting material. Paper pulp is a friendly, easy-to-use substance that creates a beautifully textured surface for painting, drawing on, or leaving raw. It's also a great way to recycle all kinds of paper into fun and beautiful art and a great alternative to clay that does not require a kiln.

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to make your own pulp using recycled paper, and how to build simple armatures or frameworks using custom and ready-made objects. Then we will also explore methods for painting and finishing small paper pulp sculptures.

PLEASE BRING:
  • clothes that don’t mind getting messy
  • a ready-made object to use as a framework. (this can be a simple dollar store item no larger than 8x8x8")
* If the workshop is sold out, make sure to subscribe in the box above and once the workshop comes back online you'll be the first to hear about it.
