In this fun and approachable ceramics workshop, we will focus on hand building techniques to make cups/mugs and vessels. No experience with clay is necessary as we cover the building block ways to work with clay. For those with some moderate clay experience, we will also cover more tools, tips, and tricks to improve your current practice. The class is ideal for beginners up to advanced.
In this workshop, you will get to make 6-10 vessels. The vessels will then be fired after drying/glazing and be shipped out you in two-weeks after the class.
- Linda Fahey is a ceramic artist making her own line of ceramics, all inspired by a life lived by the coast. Her work is shown at respected shows in the Bay Area throughout the year, and is available nationally and internationally.
This is a great workshop for team-building and for the whole family. Please read our Workshop FAQ for more info.
All supplies and shipping cost to ship the vessels to you are included in the workshop. Light snacks and refreshments will be served and you’ll also receive a 15% off discount at the Poketo shop in the lobby as well as all future workshops.
Please arrive 15 minutes early and check in at the Poketo store inside The Line Hotel. Valet parking is available at the hotel at a reduced rate of $10 for workshop attendees. Otherwise, there is offsite street parking available nearby.
