Learn the technical aspects of building and designing sets with award-winning set designer, art director and photographer Adi Goodrich. Returning for her third Poketo workshop, Adi will walk through her portfolio and go over how and where she finds her inspiration. She’ll demonstrate the techniques she uses to make the massive patterned walls and sets that are the hallmark of her acclaimed work, such as stamping, hand-painting, pattern making, collage and gradients. Using these techniques, as well as a variety of supplies and materials, each student will create and take home a large 5’ x 5’ patterned canvas wall, which they’ll use to conduct their own photo shoot under Adi’s expert guidance.
Please arrive 15 minutes early and check in at the Poketo store inside The Line Hotel. Valet parking is available at the hotel at a reduced rate of $12 for workshop attendees. Otherwise, there is offsite street parking available nearby.
In need of a little post-workshop R&R? Book a room online at thelinehotel.com with code: POK3515 and receive a very special Friends and Family rate from Poketo.
If you are no longer able to attend, we are able to provide online store credit only if the cancellation is made more than one week prior to the course date.
