Color Theory Workshop with Adi Goodrich
Saturday, July 14, 2 PM- 5 PM
The Line Hotel
3515 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90010
Award-winning set designer, art director, and photographer Adi Goodrich is returning for her third Poketo workshop, this time, teaching an introduction to Color at Poketo for the first time.
Everyone loves colors, but color can be tricky, especially in working on a design project or choosing colors for a client. In this workshop, Adi will be discussing how she uses color in her own Set Design work. She'll be giving color choosing tips, sharing what tools she uses on jobs and will be teaching students an introduction to the elements of color.
Each participant in the class will be making a Verner Panton inspired Wall Hanging that they will hand paint themselves based on the newfound color knowledge they have learned. Students will leave feeling more confident in looking and thinking about color in their own work and life. This workshop is for the designer who wants to delve deeper into the history and theory of color.
