We made it Saturday afternoon, met up with the crew for a good chillout at the The La Quinta Resort. One of those days we’ve been longing for… sun, chill, and swim. It was nice to unwind and not rush to the festival
We left for the festival around 6pm, got stuck in about an hour of traffic, looks like lots of other folks were on the same page as us. All in all, everyone was civil and the line moved. Sun was setting and we got there in time for Fleet Foxes twilight set.
They were amazing. So good live, just watching their faces, their body language, and the sound, it was a real love they were having with the whole experience out in the desert. Fleet Foxes are playing in Oakland on April 21st, if you are there, don’t miss it. I’ll post more videos and pics from Coachella, especially MIA and MSTRKRFT’s epic sets in a bit.
