Oh man, these are days I wish I lived back up in San Francisco. The FOODIE of foodie cities, proud of its impeccable taste and immense support of sustainable foods. ForageSF presents the Underground Food Market happening tonight, Friday at SomArts space. Hundreds of underground vendors will be selling their foods. They are “underground” because most of these folks don’t own a restaurant or don’t have a legal kitchen… but, hey, that doesn’t stop events like this from happening. Last months festival attracted over 1200 foodies through it’s door making for a fun night. Tonight you’ll find things like, local honey, kombucha, cupcakes, jams, jerky, and hot food too. There’s will even be a “how to” on home brewing, live music and drinks!
I’m especially proud because my brother is launching his beef jerky business at this event! That’s right, a recipe passed down from generation to generation, it’s an insane Thai beef jerky, perfectly sweet, savory, and spicy. My bro, Troy, the proprietor of Sweedeedeejerky.com will have a section on his site soon where you can buy a bag of jerky and he’ll make it fresh and deliver!! That’s the idea, good food and great service. For now, you can actually email him your order and he’ll make it on demand! Email him at firstname.lastname@example.org. The site just soft launched and it’s still bare bones, but, you’ll be seeing more soon!! To get the full effect, visit Sweedeedeejerky at the food market tonight, here is the info! Troy will have his killer jerky and also be making fresh som tom (papaya salad).
