We have some really gorgeous models up on our homepage this week. If you haven’t stopped by, go ahead, check it out. We can wait a little bit.
For those of you who are curious, that’s not a vintage photo filter, but a real, authentic picture taken in the 1970s with none other than Angie‘s mom and dad, two beautiful people inside and out. Photographed in Korea (would you believe for a catalog photo shoot?), this couple looked like they had the world in the palm of their hands. And they did. Everyone should have a joyful snapshot like this to keep.
Fast forward to 2011, we asked Angie’s mom what catches her eye on Poketo.com. A lady with a great sense of style herself, she picked:
The linen-y softness of our Pastel Dreams Scarves
The Beuys Long Cape Coat, a classic but avant-garde piece named after Josef Bueys–great for that special dinner date.
Any one of our recently launched upcycled leather clutches, made from 100 percent vintage sofa leather.
And finally, these white porcelain keys made in Japan also caught her fancy. Packaged in a set of five, they make a sweet gift or delicate charm for a necklace or bracelet.
What about you, care to share your picks for your mom?
