In the last installment of our Designer Holiday Gift Guides, artist and designer Eric Trine shares what’s on his gift list, from a checkered apron for his little daughter Evie to the perfect bottle openers for his studio’s collection.
Donut Rattle – For my brand new nephew, Nolan.
Linen Kids Apron – For my daughter, Evie. When my wife and I are cooking at home, Evie stares intently at all that we’re doing. Even though she is just a little over 1 years old, I know that before long she’s going to want to make stuff in the kitchen, or at the very least in an Easy Bake Oven.
Liquid flask - For my brother, Evan. It’s the perfect thing to get a brother.
Tool Bottle Opener For my studio mates. We have a wall of bottle openers in our studio, and all of these would be a perfect addition to our collection.
Cursive Design Dot and Tassel Necklace – For my wife, Heather. Every year for her birthday I get her earrings, and for Christmas I get her a necklace. This one is perfect. It’s like a collage, but on a chain; I love it.
