It has been a busy couple of weeks since our Street Food Party with Heirloom LA… I want to thank you all for coming out to one of the funnest parties we’ve had. Matt, Tara, and Nicolette of Heirloom LA didn’t hold back… the parking lot was a color explosion of Poketo, the Thai and Korean streetfood was delicious, and the vibe was just perfect. We heard a lot of, “best party of 2013″ comments… that warms our hearts, we had so much fun too! Chef Matt Poley executed a perfect and elevated cusine… some of my favorites were the Thai Boat Noodle, crispy pork wrap, grilled Korean bbq, and those technicolor soju cocktails in a bag… wow!
We couldn’t have pulled this off without the hard work and creative minds of the Heirloom LA team, they work magic in food and experiences. And of course, our incredible crew here at Poketo—Joyce Chai for the amazing hand lettered chalkboard murals, Sonya Gallardo and Jenny Peterson for executing the art show installation in the Salon, Jessica Park for her amazing photography, Eric Wang and Andy on the ones and twos, and Dan, Elissa, Sarah, and Michelle for the much needed muscle. Big, big love to Flipbooth LA, Smilebooth, Yasmine Khatib Floral Design, Glen of Smog Design, and for all of you who made it out and even followed us that evening on the interweb…and did you see those incredible pics from New York Times T-Magazine and LosAngelesImYours.com? Lets get ready, set for round two! And, stay tuned for more pics… so much to share!
