Last week, Poketo found itself over 3,000 miles from our LA home base… in New York City! Wednesday marked the start of a two-month long pop-up at Space Ninety 8, Urban Outfitter’s concept store in Williamsburg, and Angie & Ted were on location to celebrate with an Opening Party.
And there was no better site than Space Ninety 8 to celebrate– a beautiful and unique spot that is part concept store, part dining experience, and part gathering space. With the colorful set up and happy vibes, the Poketo pop-up was easily an natural extension of our very own flagship and we felt right at home.
Guests were invited to check out the pop-up’s wares, which includes a wide range of Poketo’s home and life goods. From stationery and bags and wallets, to exclusive collaborations with artists including Ben Medansky, Helen Levi, Highlow Jewelry, and Mel Kadel.
Whether longtime Poketo followers or those discovering our shop for the first time, Angie & Ted absolutely loved meeting all those who came. It was so much fun connecting with those in the NYC creative community, and speaking about everything from the city, its people, the art, and Poketo itself!
With Vacations spinning tunes and the crowd sipping mint lemonade cocktails by The Gorbals, the vibe was extra special. Guests mingling, laughing, and having fun– we couldn’t think of a better way to kick off our pop-up.
Big, big thank yous are due to Vacations, The Gorbals, the team at Urban Outfitters, Space Ninety 8, and of course, all those who came out to celebrate alongside us. Never a dull time in NYC!
