Probably one of the most fun shows to date. The crowds keep getting bigger, the vibe more awesome. We were so stoked to have hosted both PCP and Her Space Holiday for this event. Things just came together so naturally, effortlessly–just the way I like it. A good 200 plus fans showed up, some even had to turn away during the talk because there was no more room to fit inside!! The talk was moderated by Cornelia Von Hasselbach, she knew both of them from a previous interview in Spare Magazine.
The talk and performance went on for about an hour, longer than expected as it just flowed and people were really digging it. The audience got a nice glimpse of their relationship, their struggles, their commonalities, and their thoughts on both their art and commercial work.
A few days before, our friend Goh Nakamura called and offered to play a couple of songs at the show. If you haven’t heard Goh, he is amazing. So, we jumped at the opportunity and had Goh close out the show with a good 6 song set. At first, the crowd was still socializing and loud, all of a sudden, in the middle of his first song, you could have heard a pin drop. It was awesome.
I will be posting the video soon, in the meantime, enjoy the pics from the show. You can see the full set of pictures here.
