Here is a rare chance for you to learn and explore the means and methods behind printmaking by the famed Swedish designer Lotta Jansdotter. In this 4-hour workshop, we will focus on printing paper, fabric swatches, and other items using three different and easy techniques, straying away from any special or expensive equipment so you can replicate the process at home. You'll walk away from the workshop with a couple of completed projects, the know-how to create prints on your own, and inspiration for printing on everything from notecards to scarves.
All supplies and materials are included, and everyone will take home a printmaking kit. The kit includes a stencil brush, carving tool, stencil paper, and an instruction booklet. You'll also receive a block and potatoes to carve, and plenty of items to print on (stationery, a notebook, tote bag, handkerchief, and swatches of fabric).
All materials are included in the workshop and light snacks and refreshments will be served. This is a kid friendly workshop. Interested in bringing your kids? Read our Workshops FAQ
