Are you ready to join the macrame revival? Macrame is a form of textile-making that uses knotting rather than weaving or knitting. While the practice is steeped in history, it has made a comeback in the form of wall art, plant hangers, and more. In this workshop, led by Emily Katz of Modern Macrame, you will learn to create your very own beautiful macrame wall hanging or a small chandelier in a style that suits your space. The Chandelier will make a special sculptural hanging to enhance a corner, over your dining table, or add a light fixture and make a glowing lantern, much like the wall hanging, it will provide you joy and pride and you will be inspired for even more creativity. From conception to completion, you'll learn all the steps needed to craft a macrame wall hanging or chandelier to take home, and to continue creating pieces on your own. In addition to the project you create during the 3-hour workshop, you will take home a tote bag, 2 classic macrame knots, rope, and inspiration to spark your future creations.
Choose from the Wall Hanging Workshop or the Chandelier Workshop. If you sign up for both workshops, you will receive a $50 Poketo.com Gift Card with your purchase.
