Pro free wifi city

free WiFi by HK Govt

it’s really quite a relief to be able to quickly check emails in between appointments. I guess it should come as no surprise, considering the high number of transients passing through this compact city.

fingers crossed more cities go this way!

Brit Rail hearts Apple

funny how both device icons are from a specific brand.

Even has the iSight lens above the laptop’s screen but the CD loading slot is mirrored.

or is BR just futureproofing their signage and predicting all laptops & mobiles will look a bit like this someday?

Spotted by jabberer.

Mister Softee in a cup

RIFD soft serve

Was so happy to come across a Mister Softee van in Causeway Bay, I HAD to get something! Started off with a cone of soft serve and that was so yummy, whipped back for a retro cup. mmm!

A bit odd to see the Octopus card reader here, but then again, they are everywhere. So weird, the 50’s meets the 00’s (well, 90’s really, when RFID subway cards first arrived in HK).
