Rare Device, 826, and Paxton gate…

Three place I love to visit in San Francisco. We stopped in for a surprise visit to see Lisa Congdon and Rare Device.

Right now, there’s a show with Trish Grantham. At the end of the month, Argentinian artist, Irana Douer.

826, the original Valencia store and always a favorite. Plans for more 826 goodness is in the works…. how will we top our last project with them?

Paxton gate… the weirdly beautiful store now has a shop for kids. Think old timey mechanical and wooden toys, Paxton Gate style. Radness.

The bird in this pic… we thought it was part of the sign, but, it was real!! How did they do that? Or, was it just a coincidence?
